In addition, the ILM-422 meter detects the wavelength of the source and matches to it so that wavelength errors are eliminated and a fibre link can be tested quickly and reliably without the need for constant communication between the operators. You can then avoid the errors made when the source is at one wavelength and the meter is set at another.
