The ILM-422 test set has built in data storage and you can easily download results to a PC and import them to a Loss Test Report that automatically calculates the loss of the cable and produces a Professional PDF in just 4 minutes saving 26 minutes per report. A bi-directional, 2 wavelength report done by hand takes 30 minutes.
In addition, the ILM-422 meter detects the wavelength of the source and matches to it so that wavelength errors are eliminated and a fibre link can be tested quickly and reliably without the need for constant communication between the operators. You can then avoid the errors made when the source is at one wavelength and the meter is set at another.
ILM-422 delivers the four key fibre test wavelengths 850/1300 multimode and 1310/1550nm singlemode.
