Opticus offers specific fibre optic training courses in splicing and fibre testing and courses that cover splicing, testing and terminating. In addition we run advanced courses for those looking for enhanced training and more experience on a range of networks. So if you need to cover more advanced joints such as mid-spans, wall cabinets or data centre terminations, we have courses to suit you.
Our most popular course OP-456-61 was developed for Network Rail, Thales and BAE Systems. We start with a session of fibre theory followed by a series of practical exercises in splicing, testing and termination of fibre cables. You may be new to fibre, reinforcing your current skills or supervising fibre installations, this course will give you what you need.
